Today we found a great tutorial on how to stain paper with coffee. A special thank you to DIY Craft Club for posting this tutorial to try. Staining paper with coffee is so satisfying. This was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon let me tell ya!
There are many uses for coffee-stained paper so we couldn't wait to try this out. When we went ahead and followed this tutorial, we used a baking tray and dipped larger sheets to use for custom gift wrapping to keep on hand.
Their tip about the different kinds of paper was a good one because when we tried regular printer paper we did not have as good results, it ripped really easily. Heavier papers ended up being our favorites, especially for stamping on. We found that the best paper for stamping thank you notes was the watercolor paper. It gives a nice ephemera look and feeling.
